I've recently been finding motion design inspiration thumbing through SFX samples on Splice. It's amazing how nostalgia-inducing a 2-second audio clip of tape deck hum, or a rolling marble, or footsteps, or any other seemingly insignificant sound can be.
Romanticizing aside, if you find yourself 20+ pages deep in the drill samples- turn back you've gone too far, there's nothing there for you.
